Installation

Microsoft Excel, at least in Version 97, must be installed on a Windows based PC.
The add-in for VBA support must be available on the machine. Normally, it is automatically installed by the standard installation routine of Microsoft Excel or can be obtained be using the Excel installer from the Microsoft Office CD-Rom.
Note: Due to missing windows component libraries, Excel on Mac OS is currently not supported!

Since MADA is embedded in an Excel document, the installation is basically nothing more than to copy the MADA.xls file to the disk drive and open it with Excel. Sometimes, runtime libraries required by MADA are missing in the current Excel installation. We recommend to use the installation package SetupMADA.exe which includes all components required and can create a program group and desktop link.

1. Download the installation package to your PC.

2. Execute SetupMADA.exe and follow the instructions.

3. After the installation it could be necessary to adjust the Excel settings. The execution of macros and the access to Visual Basic projects must be enabled.
