Research
My research aims to automate the diagnosis of hemic neoplasia, a transmissible cancer in cockles, by using image analysis on digitized cytological slides. It involves manually annotating images and training a machine learning model in QuPath to detect cancer cells, followed by evaluating its accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. The model will then possibly be adapted to histological sections to estimate cancer infiltration through statistical analysis.
