Research
My research aims to investigate the comparative chromosome-level genome architecture of two closely related cockle species. In my research, I analyse and compare the two reference genomes, focusing on the genome architecture and annotation quality. I further investigate the diversity, composition, and evolutionary divergence of immune-related gene families to identify similarities and differences in the genomic organisation between the two cockle species. By integrating comparative genomics, genome annotation assessment, and immune gene family analysis, this project aims to improve the reliability of existing genomic resources.
