A group of current and former PhD students and other staff from the International Max Planck Research School of Marine Microbiology „marmic“ of the Max Planck Institute in Bremen held a meeting in Berlin last week from February 21 to 23, 2020.

In the Max Planck Society’s Harnack House, the participants first met for a scientific discussion and exchange on current research. The group then took part in a guided tour of Berlin-Dahlem, a place full of history where the Harnack House is located, and of the Reichstag building downtown Berlin.

"The joint activities not only allowed us to exchange scientific information in an excellent manner, but also helped us to grow together even better on a personal level," emphasizes the institute’s director Rudolf Amann.
