Double tribute to researchers of the MPI Bremen

Jun 13, 2018

At this year’s Annual Meeting of the Max Planck Society two researchers from our institute will be honored for their outstanding achievements.

Dr. Greta Reintjes receives the Otto Hahn Medal for her doctoral thesis on bacterially mediated carbon turnover by marine microorganisms.

Dr. Arjun Chennu is awarded the Hermann Neuhaus Prize for the development of a new technique for more rapid and cost-efficient marine habitat surveys.

We congratulate and are very thankful that the research at our institute receives such recognition!
