An eventful year comes to an end, with exciting expeditions and many fascinating research results. We said goodbye to one of our founding directors and welcomed several new research groups. One or two awards now also adorn the shelves and offices of our employees. The redesign of our institute was completed this year and the foyer and the side entrance now shine in new splendour. Additionally, our interactive poster in our cafeteria serves as a place for intensive scientific discussions.

Now this year is drawing to a close. Many thanks to all colleagues from far and near for a beautiful and successful year!
